FOR CHILDREN
Series of Animation Short Films

Duration: March 21st / Jun 14th, 2009
Author(s): Various

In his book The Meaning and Importance of Fairy Tales, Bruno Bettelheim explains that “for a story to truly keep the child’s attention, it has to be fun to them, and excite their curiosity”. The cycle For Children is based on these basic¾often forgotten¾principles, intending to attain the infantile subconscious in order to boost their creativity and maybe offer them the possibility to identify their worries, troubles and hopes. The short films For Children have been selected thinking in children and speaking their language. There are animations which briefly and concisely posit stories and situations that are typical of children’s fantasy and which are characterized by their didactic messages and their transmission of fundamental values.
